THE CHINESE GARDEN OF FRIENSHIP

Pier Street, Cnr Harbour St, Darling Harbour NSW 2000

Darling Harbour acknowledges the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation as traditional custodians of the land. We would also like to acknowledge Gadigal Elders, past, present and future.

The Chinese Garden of Friendship is a tranquil retreat in the middle of the city, and one of the best things to do in Sydney.

The natural beauty architecture and elegance of the Chinese gardens can provide a unique backdrop for any event. A sheltered pavilion, graceful bridges, reflective pools and enchanting landscapes create a perfect romantic setting in the heart of the city.

The Chinese Garden of Friendship Forecourt is a paved public site separating the Chinese Garden of Friendship from the International Convention Centre Sydney, and the Pier Street Overpass from Tumbalong Park.

The forecourt contains a fountain which may be switched off on application. The size and configuration of the forecourt lends the space to a variety of public events and activations.
