Magical Ball for Cure for Life Gala Ball
The annual Cure For Life gala ball was held with a Cinderella theme hosted by neurosurgeon Charlie Teo, who is taking the lead on curing brain cancer. The event in its 10th year aimed to raise over $750,000 in one night! 1000 guests including Steve Waugh & Barry O'Farrell enjoyed live performances by Leo Sayer & Dragon with MC Vince Sorentti. Bayleaf have catered for the CFLF for many years and will continue to offer our full support for years to come.

Rock'n'Roll Ball for Seniors Week
A variety of events were held across the week for NSW aged care community. We catered for 850 party goers at the Hordern Pavilion. A rock'n'roll theme had guests enjoying a sit down dinner with canapes set in an American diner! A milkshake bar, mini grilled hotdogs & burgers, hot buttered popcorn, waitresses on roller skates and our custom 1963 Datsun ute was a rock'n' roll buffet on wheels - we call her 'Lucy'! Bayleaf's Pursuit for Perfection
The Media Federation of Australia (MFA) held its annual awards event at CarriageWorks on Thursday 20 Oct. 700 of the media industry’s leaders celebrate excellence as well as enjoyed a night of outstanding entertainment, chef manned food stations, cocktails and premium service. The awards theme was 'Mastery - Pursuit for Perfection' which was set in a quirky, bonsai inspired garden party. See photos on our Facebook page.

Finalist for Best Achievement in Catering
Bayleaf was announced this week as finalist for the Best Achievement in Catering category for the Australian Event Awards. The Bayleaf team were nominated for their work on the Australian Tourism Exchange 2011 event on Cockatoo Island. "It is an honour to be selected from a large number of entries from across Australia to make the list of just three finalists in this category," said Chris Stubbs, Director.

2,400 guests, 7 live chef stations, 4 cocktail bars & one island!
The Australian Tourism Exchange celebrated the end of their annual premier trade show with a function for 2,400 guests on Cockatoo Island. The focus was on NSW produce, Bayleaf opted for an interactive food service with live chef stations - oyster shuckers, noodle chefs, pizza dough throwers, sashimi masters & lamington makers were some of the specialists on hand to treat guests to some favourite Australian dishes. Sam Stosur and Jelena Dokic took part in the launch show for Jetstar, the official airline partner of the WTA (Women's Tennis Association) in Asia-Pacific. Bayleaf pops-up at Flash Party
Chef Justin Bull earned great reviews with his unique menu for the Flash Party 'pop-up bar.' The secret location of the event was revealed by SMS 24 hours prior to the event. Guests found their way to Roller Studio, a designer warehouse space in Surry Hills. 150 media & VIP guests enjoyed gourmet retro and urban inspired cocktails, live music and an array of Justin's signature canapes. www.flashparty.com.au
